TW Kings Cars runs pre-booked airport taxis from Wateringbury to every London airport, door to door, 24 hours a day. We pick up from anywhere in the area — Tonbridge Road along the A26, Bow Road and Maidstone Road by the crossroads, and the lanes out towards Teston, Nettlestead and East Malling — and take you straight to your terminal. No meter, no surge pricing: your fare is fixed when you book, and it is the price you pay.
Wateringbury is a Medway village — Bow Bridge and Bow Bridge Marina sit beside the station, the Medway Valley Walk runs along the river, and the A26 meets the B2015 at the village crossroads. It is one of the best-connected villages in this part of the valley, and its airport runs go west towards the M20 and Gatwick or round the M25 for Heathrow.
A saloon car from Wateringbury to Gatwick Airport is a fixed £85 and to Heathrow Airport a fixed £110. We also run fixed fares to London City (£105), Stansted (£130) and Luton (£155) — the full table for every airport and vehicle is below. Gatwick is about 41 miles from Wateringbury and the drive takes around 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes in normal traffic; Heathrow is about 62 miles and takes around 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes depending on the M25. When you book, we agree a pickup time that gets you to the terminal with time to spare.
Coming home, we track your flight. If your plane is delayed, your driver simply adjusts — TW Kings Cars makes no additional charge for flight delays — and will text or call you on arrival and help with your luggage. All our drivers are licensed by the local council and DBS checked.

Travelling as a group? Our 8-seater minibuses run the same fixed fares from Wateringbury — £136 to Gatwick, £176 to Heathrow, £168 to London City, £208 to Stansted and £248 to Luton — for family holidays, golf trips, wedding parties and group airport runs where two cars would cost more and arrive separately. Everyone travels together, with room for cases, buggies and sports bags. Tell us your passenger numbers and luggage when you book and we will send the right vehicle.
Gatwick and Heathrow are the airports most Wateringbury passengers use, but we run every London airport at a fixed fare. London City (£105 saloon) is the business traveller's choice — a small Docklands terminal, fast to clear, and handy for Canary Wharf and the City. Stansted (£130 saloon) serves the low-cost European routes; it is a long run round the M25 and up the M11, so we agree a generous pickup time when you book. Luton (£155 saloon) is the same story in the other direction — a fixed fare agreed up front, a driver who knows the M25/M1 pattern, and no meter ticking in traffic. Whichever airport you are flying from, the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Wateringbury has its own station on the Medway Valley Line, just south of the village centre by Bow Bridge — but the line runs to Maidstone, Strood and Paddock Wood, not to any airport. Gatwick or Heathrow by rail from Wateringbury means two or three changes and well over two hours with cases, and early or late trains rarely fit flight times. A fixed-fare taxi from your door is simpler and, for a family, often cheaper than the rail fares plus station runs. We also do station pickups and drop-offs for London trips.
