TW Kings Cars runs fixed-fare airport taxis from Tidebrook to Gatwick, Heathrow, London City, Stansted and Luton, 24 hours a day. Gatwick is £83 and Heathrow £121 in a saloon car, agreed before you travel. Call 01892 800234, message us on WhatsApp or book online, and pay by card or cash.
We track your flight for every arrival pickup, and there is no additional charge for flight delays – if you land early or late, your driver adjusts. Your driver arrives early for departures, makes contact by text or call when you land, and helps with your luggage. All drivers are licensed and DBS-checked.
Tidebrook is a small hamlet in the parish of Wadhurst, set along the valley of the Tide Brook in the High Weald.
We collect from anywhere in Tidebrook – Tidebrook, Wadhurst, Best Beech, Cousley Wood, Stonegate and Ticehurst – and the same fixed fares apply for the journey home from the airport.
Gatwick is about 45 miles from Tidebrook, around 1 hour 5 minutes by road north-west across the Weald to the M23. Our fixed saloon fare is £83 to either terminal. For departures your driver agrees a pickup time that builds in check-in time and the state of the traffic on the day.
Heathrow is about 64 miles from Tidebrook, around 1 hour 25 minutes by road. Our fixed saloon fare is £121, to any terminal – T2, T3, T4 and T5 are all covered. For early flights, book the night before and your driver arrives at the agreed time.
London City is £113, Stansted £137 and Luton £154 in a saloon car. These are longer cross-country journeys, so your driver will agree a pickup time with a proper buffer for the M25. The same fixed fares apply for pickups from the airport back to Tidebrook, with your flight tracked.
Fixed one-way fares from Tidebrook, updated November 2026. The same fare applies in the other direction for pickups; return journeys are charged at the same fare each way. There is no additional charge for flight delays.

Flying as a group? Our 8-seater minibus fare is in the table above, and we also run 6, 7, 10, 12 and 16-seater minibuses from Tidebrook for family holidays, sports trips, stag and hen parties and corporate travel – one vehicle, one fixed fare, everyone travelling together. See minibus hire in Kent or tell us your group size when you book.
Tidebrook has no station – Wadhurst and Stonegate, both on the Hastings line, are its railheads, and from either, every airport still means changing at Tonbridge or crossing London with your bags.
A pre-booked taxi is door to door: your driver loads the luggage, drives you straight to the terminal, and is there when you land on the way back. For families and groups, one fixed fare for the car usually compares well with several rail fares plus the onward legs at both ends.
